Ribbed short pasta shape, of neapolitan origin. The pennoni are diagonally cut with a pointed tubular form, so that they resemble the goose quills once used as writing instruments. They are suitable for all types of sauces and recipes: ranging from classic sauces with tomato and basil, to more substantial meat or vegetable sauces.
